  3. How did you come up with the name “TrueNorth®”?

    • In the process of creating a new kind of nut snacking experience, we found our all-consuming passion—our one “true north.” By naming our nut snacks TrueNorth®, we hope to celebrate our passion for nuts and inspire other people to find their own true north.

  4. How is TrueNorth® different from traditional nut snacks?

    • At TrueNorth®, we wanted people to be able to enjoy the benefits of traditional nuts in new ways. We start with great-tasting, nutritious almonds, peanuts, pistachios, pecans or walnuts and combine them with unique shapes, textures and tastes to create totally new snacking experiences, all with 100% natural ingredients. The nuts we start with are lower in saturated fat than other nuts, and contain mostly mono and polyunsaturated fats.

  5. How do the TrueNorth® snacks differ from one another?

    • All TrueNorth® snacks are 100% natural and contain at least 4g of protein per serving. However, each variety comes in a unique form and flavor, giving you snacking options fit for a wide range of occasions and cravings. Some of our snacks are also a good source of fiber.

    • Nuts are the first ingredient in every TrueNorth® ingredient statement, indicating nuts are the #1 ingredient in each product.

  7. Do TrueNorth® products contain gluten?

    • Gluten is a form of protein found in wheat, rye, and barley. TrueNorth® Crisps contain wheat. Other TrueNorth® products do not contain wheat, rye or barley.

    • TrueNorth® nut clusters and crisps are OU Dairy certified kosher. TrueNorth® whole nuts are OU kosher.

    • According to the FDA, vegan foods do not contain animal products. The TrueNorth® clusters and whole nuts do not contain animal ingredients of any kind, including dairy.
